This text was a YouTube video about two deaf men, Chella Man and Nyle DeMarco who take the audience and show them what it is like for them to experience seeing movies at the theater. While one might see the text as a narrative about how the conditions of certain experiences don't cater to the needs of certain groups of people, however I interpreted the piece as a form of activism. I think the objective of the text is to spread awareness on ways that people with certain disabilities are unable to participate in certain settings. While they were provided a device called the "CaptiView," a closed captioning viewing device for deaf people in theaters, they talked about how poorly kept and dysfunctional the devices were. It is evident that Nyle and Chella are intentionally trying to point out that solutions have been created but not considered for their cases, and that they believe more efforts should be made so that they can enjoy themselves at theaters as well.
